CLADDING PROJECTS

While employed at Flad & Associates of Wisconsin I had the opportunity to be project engineer for a number of stone cladding projects. Two notable projects are shown below, The US Holocaust Museum located in Washington, D.C. and St. Norbert's Austin E. Cofrin Hall located in De Pere, WI.

For the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum we preformed the analysis for the interior and exterior limestone cladding and the interior granite and marble cladding and its anchorage to backup systems.

For the Austin E. Cofrin Hall we preformed the analysis for the exterior limestone cladding and its anchorage to backup systems.

It should be noted that this type of engineering design is very detail sensitive and intensive work that normally takes place during the shop drawing phase of the project.
